Bill Ayers founded the firm in 1975 and has presided over its spectacular growth ever since. It is now a full-service career management firm, headquartered in New York City's historic Chrysler Building, with four offices in the tri-state area (New York, Connecticut and New Jersey). Through its partnership with Career Partners International, The Ayers Group/CPI has offices in more than 150 locations around the world, including the United States, Europe, Canada, South America, and the Pacific Rim. Today, the firm boasts the greatest number of offices, world-wide, of any career services firm.
Bill has developed and expanded the firm's offerings to include career transition, organizational effectiveness consulting, information technology consulting, and staffing, making The Ayers Group a truly one stop shopping organization for the client companies it services.
A nationally recognized expert in career management, Bill has overseen the firm's development of innovative strategies, especially for the key executive population, with a keen understanding of this unique population's goals, satisfiers and requirements. These strategies have been translated into programs that utilize the most sophisticated assessments, campaign templates, niche experts and cutting-edge technology to bear on an executive's professional transition.
Over the years, Bill has hired and developed a talented team of career management professionals from senior human resources and corporate line managements.
